Paul Rich

Actor & Vocalist

Singing Waiters

About Me

Ever since I was young, I've been a performer.
Even if I wasn't initially aware of it, my parents definitely were, they would tell you!
I fell into acting by chance really. When I was 11, I was having a tough time at school, kids can be cruel and because of that, I had low self-esteem. My folks enrolled me in acting classes and I gained so much confidence.  Acting turned to singing and then from the age of 18 I trained at East 15 Acting School, where I was taught a very valuable lesson. Possibly the most important of all - that to ever be a truly great actor, I would first have to be comfortable with being myself on stage.  Something that I'm happy to say is something I can do.  Acting is my first love but singing is my new love... And much of my work tends to be singing.
My greatest strength is in Musical Theatre, where I get to ply both those trades.

In A Nutshell...

April 2020 Update

The Portable Studio

Stay up to date about all my upcoming events and performance schedule.

Coronavirus Pandemic

corona.jpeg

We're now coming near to the end of April, with seemingly no end in sight for the state of lockdown we currently find ourselves in.  Whilst it is necessary, I can't help but lament about how much work I have lost THIS MONTH alone. Grateful for my job as a delivery driver for Sainsbury's.  Hoping the nightmare will end sooner, rather than later.

March 2020

Gutted. Many of our performances this spring & summer have been postponed or cancelled outright due to the coronavirus pandemic. Whilst we understand why it is imperative to contain this virus, we still feel very sorry to everyone that were looking forward to our shows. Including ourselves... I for one, LOVE this show and can't wait to strum that guitar again.

“For me, our job as artists is to serve the story, serve the director, and serve the fellow actors. And if you do that, by osmosis you’re serving yourself because you’ll get the best out of yourself.”

- David Oyelowo
